CREW Maryland Suburban Director Descriptions

Communications Director:

• Create and publish marketing ads, events, holidays, and news on all three of the chapter’s social media platforms (experience in digital graphics, marketing and social media recommended).

• Gather CREW2CREW Business examples, collect before and after photos, speak with the members involved and post each month.

• Gather news and updates from our members, collect photos, information, speak with members involved and post each month.

Membership Director: (Minimum of one full year CREW MD Suburban membership under your belt to join)

• Recruiting/outreach efforts: invite targets to events, introductions to members.

• Receive & review membership applications.

• Evaluate/recommend/approve applicants via the CREW Maryland Suburban Board and CREW Network.

• Host new member welcome event(s).

• Establish regular communication to ensure new members are engaged and receiving value and setup a schedule so the new member hears from a few different members.

• Review roster for data accuracy.

• Provide CREW Network information for upcoming membership term: categories, dues rates, early payment incentives, chapter payment of specific members’ dues.

• Monitor renewal progress and communicate with non-renewals to encourage payment on time.

• Communicate about the value of membership year-round.

Programs Director:

• Plan and provide high quality programming that appeals to local CRE community professionals (particularly the highest level of CRE professionals) and encourages them to gather in one place to be educated, have fun, network and to share ideas and information with one another.

• Provide programming that educates and brings significant value to the membership.

• Attract maximum attendance at the chapter’s events; the programs offered and promoted to the local CRE community to greatly impact the chapter’s brand and how the chapter is perceived by both its members and others within (and outside of) the CRE industry.

• Plan a year’s worth of programs, sometimes a month will have one event while others will have two to three events on the calendar.

• Promote events through the Communications Committee.

• Announce the dates of all programs early in the year to generate excitement and interest among current and prospective members.

• Follow up with attendees on event satisfaction.

• Communicate about the value of membership year-round.

Corporate Sponsorship Committee Director:

• Be mindful of potential sponsors while conducting day to day business.

• Research potential new sources of sponsorship funds.

• Gathering partner logos, marketing materials, websites, social media pages.

• Monthly follow ups with each partner.

• Include all partners at our CNCC event.

• Work hand in hand with Programs Committee in establishing event sponsorship goals.

• Manage Sponsorship money and invoices.
